Xinjiang textile company receives orders worth $3.3 million after resuming production
Workers shuttled among textile equipment and orderly operated intelligent facilities in a textile company in Wushi County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region on Monday. After the Spring Festival holiday, many enterprises in the region have resumed production at full speed.
The textile company was put into operation in 2019, with an annual output of 14,400 metric tons of yarn and a total industrial output value of 400 million yuan. The products are mainly sold to more than ten coastal cities such as Ningbo, Zhejiang Province and Foshan, Guangdong Province. In January, the company received orders of 29 million yuan.
Aksu is the largest cotton-producing area in Xinjiang. In recent years, the total output value of the textile and garment industry in Aksu has risen steadily. There are twelve textile and garment enterprises in Wushi County, and they offer 1,300 jobs for local residents.
